After the success of our Salesforce Center of Excellence Webinar: “How can the Salesforce COE step up in times of uncertainty?”, we started a series entitled the The Salesforce Sitdown with some of those who joined us in the virtual audience! This is our second episode, featuring a conversation with Greg Marino.
Greg’s most recent engagement was with Marsh & McLennan serving as Senior Vice President, Global Head of CRM CoE. With Greg’s 20+ years of CRM and business experience, he exercises a strong balance of stakeholder management and technical proficiency. We sat down and talked about taking your CRM to the next level from building for today whilst planning for the future, shooting for that “North Star” and the importance of the strong bond between business and technology.
We discussed, the importance of sound COE investment, the gap in CRM strategy, common pitfalls when implementing Salesforce and further insights on how to build a COE right.
This series is part of a wider community initiative, peer led, for SFDC Tech/COE Leaders to connect with each other on the machinations of successful user adoption, shared best practices and learnings about roles, processes, and tech used in such teams. We don’t always get to be connected to peers in the Salesforce Community, COE leaders can find themselves operating like islands, in their own businesses and separated from others. This is a window in on how Salesforce is run, elsewhere.
