We are delighted to welcome Sai Garnepudi, Senior Manager of Sales Systems at ThoughtSpot, as our guest on this episode of the Salesforce Sitdown.
Sai walks us through his journey to Technical Leadership. We discuss such topics as the “Player Coach”, the hardest lessons for technical leaders to learn moving from development to management, the qualities of a good manager in the tech world and tips to build a tech team from Scratch. We also got some great viewing and reading recommendations! Sai is the Sr Manager of Sales Systems over at ThoughtSpot. Prior to that he has operated as an Architect a Development Manager and a Development Lead.
This series is part of a wider community initiative, peer led, for SFDC Tech/COE Leaders to connect with each other on the machinations of successful user adoption, shared best practices and learnings about roles, processes, and tech used in such teams. We don’t always get to be connected to peers in the Salesforce Community, COE leaders can find themselves operating like islands, in their own businesses and separated from others. This is a window in on how Salesforce is run, elsewhere.
